The mission of the Eau Claire Tenant Landlord Resource Center is to provide information and services to tenants and landlords for the purpose of fostering better relationships. The Center provides information, advice, and early intervention mediation to resolve tenant/landlord disputes, thereby preventing costly legal interventions and evictions.

Susan is a life-long community advocate. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
having received her MSSW from UW-Madison and worked for Mayo Health Systems as a
psychotherapist for many years. After she received her PhD from the University
of MN, she taught in Human Development and Family Studies until she left Stout in
2016 as Professor Emeritus. Susan co-chairs the JONAH Affordable Housing Task Force
and served on the City of Eau Claire’s Plan Commission.
Susan is trained in Mediation through UW-Madison’s Continuing Studies. She looks
forward to providing mediation services and training volunteers for early
intervention to prevent evictions in the best interest of landlords, tenants,
and our community.

Paul is a long-time resident of the Chippewa Valley, a graduate of Memorial
High School, Carroll College, and UW Eau Claire. He and his wife have been
living in rural Eau Claire County since 1977. He taught middle school and high
school English at Mondovi Schools for 27 years and has worked as a community
organizer in Eau Claire for the past 12 years, primarily as a volunteer organizer
with JONAH (Joining Our Neighbors, Advancing Hope). He has served on the
JONAH Affordable Housing Task Force Core Team as secretary since its
inception in 2017.
Paul serves on the Western Dairyland EOC Board of Directors, is a member of
the Dairyland Housing Coalition, and has volunteered with many other local
organizations and nonprofits over the past 40 years. He believes in working
together to create a more just, healthy, and sustainable community for us all;
trusting in the triumph of love and hope over hate and fear.

Amanda has lived in the Chippewa Valley since 2005. She transferred
to UW-Eau Claire in 2012 and fell in love with the city. She has watched
the city grow since that time and sees the benefits and drawbacks of
that growth. Amanda values being part of positive change for our community.
Everyone can make a difference, and the biggest impact happens when
we work together.
Amanda has experience in subsidized and market-rate property management,
long-term-care assisted living, and community organization. She was
elected to the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors and served a
two year term from 2022-2024, where she was appointed to the ADRC
board and UW-Extension committee. Amanda was the president of her
Neighborhood Association from 2022-2025. She looks forward to
forming relationships with our partners and being a resource
for those in need.

Michelle Pride grew up in central Wisconsin and has always felt deeply connected
to community and is inspired by the compassion and generosity she witnesses.
Now at Feed My People Food Bank, she enjoys bringing people together—whether
offering a warm welcome to volunteers, connecting with donors, or sharing
stories about how neighbors support neighbors.
Outside of her role at FMP, Michelle sings with the band Breaking Chains,
leading worship throughout northwest Wisconsin. She is active in her church’s
Racial Justice Task Force and serves as the ELCA World Hunger leader for
the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin. She is also passionate about efforts
that promote safe, stable, and affordable housing for all, including
volunteering with Chippewa Valley Street Ministry, JONAH's Affordable
Housing Task Force, and the Community Haven House Advisory Board and
Steering Committee.
Secretary
Debbie Gough worked in student support services at UW-Eau Claire for over 30 years, ending her tenure as the Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management. She has a Ph.D. In history from the University of Pennsylvania. After her retirement in 2015 she became involved in issues related to hunger and homelessness in Eau Claire. She is a member of the Dairyland Housing Coalition, serves on their Gaps Committee, the Affordable Housing Task Force of JONAh and the advisory board for Haven House.
Elyse Harvey is a Certified Peer Support Specialist with three years
of experience walking alongside parents and families during some of
their most challenging seasons. In addition to her peer support work,
she serves as a Community Health Worker, helping community members
access essential resources, navigate systems, and build the support
networks they need to thrive.
Elyse also brings her lived experience and advocacy to her role on
the Board of the Tenant-Landlord Resource Center, where she supports
efforts to strengthen housing stability and community wellbeing.
She is currently pursuing her education in the Substance Use Disorder
Counseling program at Northcentral Technical College, continuing
to deepen her skills and expand her impact in the behavioral
health field.
Mary Proznik brings more than 20 years of experience
in property management and real estate operations to
her role on the Board of Directors for the Eau Claire
Landlord Tenant Resource Center. Her career has spanned
all facets of the industry, including leasing, property
management, operations leadership, affordable housing,
development, and brokerage services. She began her career
as a leasing agent in Clearwater, Florida, and progressed
through roles as Property Manager and ultimately Director
of Operations, building a strong foundation in both
market-rate and affordable housing.
Mary holds a Wisconsin Real Estate Broker’s License
and earned her MBA from The College of Saint Scholastica.
She is currently the Director of Operations for Riverbend
Rentals and is the owner of VIVE Design and Renovation.
In addition, she serves as Designer and Project Manager for
GRIP Companies and as Managing Broker and Partner of GRIP Realty, LLC.
Deeply committed to community engagement and thoughtful
development, Mary has served on the City of Eau Claire
Redevelopment Authority (RDA) and is a former member of the City of
Eau Claire Planning Commission. She currently serves on the
Board of Directors for the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association and is an active member of its Government Affairs Committee.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband—her
high school sweetheart—and their two daughters. Together, they
love cheering on their girls at sporting events, taking road
trips, and making the most of time spent together as a family.
TJ Atkins is the Executive Director of a local nonprofit and a committed community advocate in the Chippewa Valley, focusing on food security, housing, mental health, and support for the BIPOC community. She is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Eau Claire, current President of the Clearwater Kiwanis Club, and serves on the Board of the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley. TJ also co-chairs the Eau Claire Health Alliance and Leadership Eau Claire’s Volunteerism and Human Services Day. In her free time, she is a Mary Kay Professional Beauty Consultant and an active member of Lake Street United Methodist Church.
