The Great Rivers call center is set to close on December 31. People can continue to dial 211, and the remaining seven 211 Wisconsin call centers will handle those calls until a permanent solution is found. All referral specialists are trained to assist and connect people to resources, regardless of where the call comes from. Great Rivers United Way is working with 211 Wisconsin to keep this region connected to 211. The local information will be maintained and kept up to date by Great Rivers United Way starting January 5th. ALL CALLS WILL BE ANSWERED through the transition. For the beginning of 2026, calls will be answered by other 211s across the state. They will be sharing local information with people calling from this region. That local information is what Great Rivers United Way will be maintaining. Please continue to dial 211 for your information and referral needs.
